As today marks the end of the election campaign, candidates contesting the elections are focused on a show of strength. Tollywood star hero and son of Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, visited Pithapuram today to support his uncle, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. As Charan visited Pawan Kalyan’s house in Chebrolu, a large crowd gathered in front of the residence. On the other hand, in a surprising move, another mega hero, Allu Arjun, visited Nandyala to support his friend, YSRCP MLA candidate Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy. Arjun’s visit attracted a massive crowd, which security struggled to control.

Why Pushpa Supports YSRCP Candidate?

Allu Arjun stated that regardless of political affiliation, he wanted to extend his support to Ravi Kishore Reddy. He emphasised that their friendship spans over 15 years, and in the previous elections, he had supported Ravi with just a tweet. This time, he felt that merely tweeting wasn’t enough, and thus he decided to be physically present to support Ravi. He further expressed admiration for Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy’s hard work over the last 5 years and wished him success in politics. Additionally, Ravi’s wife, Nagini Reddy, is a classmate of Allu Arjun’s wife, Sneha Reddy, which also contributed to Allu Arjun’s support for YSRCP.

Janasena followers attack Allu Arjun on social media.

Janasena followers have begun targeting Allu Arjun on social media for his support of YSRCP candidate Ravi. Expressing their frustration, they argue that Allu Arjun should have visited Pithapuram to support Pawan Kalyan rather than Nandyala to support a YSRCP candidate. They are upset with him for not campaigning for Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram, despite their familial connection. What hurts them even more is Allu Arjun’s comment that a tweet is not enough for his friend Ravi, so he visited Nandyala directly. This is in contrast to his actions with Pawan Kalyan, for whom he only tweeted and sought the support of Pithapuram voters. Up until now, except for Allu Arjun and Chiranjeevi, all the heroes from the Mega family have visited Pithapuram to support Pawan Kalyan’s candidature.

Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu also pointed out Allu Arjun’s support for the YSRCP candidate. Naidu stated that it is Allu Arjun’s choice, but he criticised the YSRCP for utilising him in their party campaign despite his familial association with Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. However, Chandrababu Naidu seemed to forget that while Allu Arjun has familial ties with Pawan Kalyan, he is primarily an actor and not directly affiliated with any political party. Therefore, he has the right to support any candidate he wishes.
